- Composition: Nickel, Iron, & Trolite nodules
- Found 1906 - Estimated fall 800,000 years ago - Location Sweden Norrbotten, Kiruna
- Widmanstätten patterns, called also Thomson structures, are unique figures of long nickel-iron crystals,
found in octahedrite iron meteorites. These specimens have been sliced from large specimens and acid etched to
show the remarkably clear and organized patterns of this particular meteorite.
